The puppies went home two weeks ago, but I’ve had a little one of my own here, so I haven’t had time to sit down and post about it!
Here’s our little sweetheart, female AKC/NAVHDA Bluestem Peaches en Regalia, “Ruth”.

The weather is finally supposed to be nice this weekend after about two weeks of clouds and rain, so it will be fun to finally get her out into the field with some live birds!
She had her second set of shots yesterday, just as a reminder to the new owners that they are due. She is also leash broken, as that was the first thing that I did when taking her out to potty since our front yard is not fenced. I took her out on a check cord and got her used to the lead. She did great on it yesterday at the vet, it was our first time out with it and new people.
Here are the homegoing photos:

Malcolm went home to Elkhorn, Nebraska with Heidi and her kids

Medea went to Oklahoma with Matt and his wife Melissa

Margaret flew home to Texas with Reed

Madeline went to Minnesota with Brent

Madame Defarge went to Wyoming with Dave and his wife

Macduff stayed here in Omaha with Laurie and her family
I do have some pupdates to share, but I have to get ready to head up to teach some school for the afternoon, so it will have to be another day. We’ll keep you posted with those, plus training updates over the summer. We have A LOT of training to do with two dogs needing to Utility Test and now this little one getting ready for Natural Ability. Speaking of Natural Ability, my co-owned pup “Chewie” tests in a couple of weeks, so we’ll have photos from that. Enjoy the spring weather!
